Captain Barry Kohlus was honored by the Montauk Grand Slam Fishing Tournament when he received the Montauk "Fishing Legend - 2014"  award.

 

As Captain Barry stood before over 50 fishing captains, friends, and family members to accept the award, he turned to all the children in attendance and offered these words of advice: "When you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."

on the Venture

The VENTURE  is a clean, fast, and comfortable  41' Hatteras -- ready for an inshore or offshore fishing charter, full day or half-day. 

​

The Venture sails from the Star Island Yacht Club off West Lake Drive in Montauk. Your fishing charter includes an experienced, courteous, and professional crew.  We encourage participation by people of all ages.

All bait and tackle are included on the Venture, which has a maximun capacity of six people, per U.S. coast Guard regulations.
